Private, semi-private and group lessons

I am an IPTPA Certified Level 2 coach living in Calgary, Alberta. I play regularly at the 3.7 – 4.0 level, including occasional tournaments. As an avid pickleball player, I enjoy introducing new players to the sport, and assisting novice, intermediate and more advanced players with developing and expanding their knowledge and skills to increase their enjoyment of the game, and move up to the next level. I am always curious about new developments in the game and training techniques, both to develop my own skills, and to refine my approach to teaching. I try to keep students busy on the court and having fun, while being specific in their skill improvement.

In addition to teaching many introductory sessions and development clinics, and acting as a mentor in group sessions, I am available for private individual or small group lessons at mutually convenient locations. My time is generally flexible.

Outside Pickleball, I am a certified sailing yacht captain, ski instructor, mainly as a volunteer with disabled skiers, blind and visually impaired in most recent years, and ever hopeful golfer. None of this is likely to help you with your Pickleball, but it might be fun to talk about after lessons!
